ジョルジャ・スミス(Jorja Smith)のブルー・ライツ(Blue Lights)という曲です。
毎週日曜20時からJ-WAVEにて好評放送中の「Travelling Without Moving」にて紹介された曲です(4曲目)。哀愁漂う雰囲気と途中からのバックビートがあまりにもストリートで即ハマりでした。というか、それにジョルジャの美声も相まってさらに良いのでしょう。
最初は「とにかく逃げろ」という感じで捉えていましたが、調べてみると曲の内容は「なんもやましいことやってなきゃ警察さんからは逃げんほうがええよ」というような感じだそう。曲中には「run」というワードが幾度となく出てきます。普通に和訳すれば「走る」の意味ですが、別に「逃げる」という意味も持っているんですよね。そして、曲の終盤にはサイレンを模した音とDJプレイ。
